After 38 years, we know what you want in a century ride. The Jamboree offers over 8,000 feet of climbing on the less traveled back roads of Shasta County. You will enjoy breath taking views of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen while traversing a well marked course through wildflower blanketed hills and meadows. Timely rest stops, abundant lunch, and sumptuous dinner will keep you hydrated and fueled.

Century (100 miles) — Red tape shows the way through this challenging, hilly ascent. Climb Black Butte, Whitmore, and Oak Run. Loop-de-loop around and up and down along Buzzard’s Roost and Bullskin. In excess of 8,000 feet of climbing. Sign in at 6:30 a.m. — Group start at 7 a.m.

Half Century (50 miles) — Follow the blue tape markings along the Quarter Century to Old 44, up Whitmore Road across to Oak Run. Return to Millville and Palo Cedro. Approximately 5,000 feet of climbing. Sign in at 7 a.m. — Group start at 8 a.m.

Quarter Century (25 miles) & Metric Quarter Century (15 miles) — Gray tape marks the route over gently rolling hills suitable for the novice rider. Ride provides countryside vistas. Approximately 1,000 feet of climbing for the 25 mile route. Sign in at 8 a.m. — Group start 9 a.m.

Registration and pre-ride check-in: Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. at Bishop Quinn High School in Palo Cedro. Wristbands identify you as a paid-up rider and are required for all food and support.

Rest stops and meals: Rest stop closing times and miles to the next one will be posted prominently. After finishing your ride, present your wristband at the registration desk for dinner. Please check in even if you do not wish to stay for the meal, or ask another rider to report your return.

Rain or shine, the Jamboree will take place. Be prepared for Spring weather conditions. Carry adequate tools, spares, water bottles, money and identification. Sag vehicles will be on the course all day to provide assistance and radio communication
